Livestock Guardian Dogs (LGDs)
All of the puppies from this litter have been sold. We are expecting another litter to be born mid Feb. 2009.
The new owners of these puppies are all very pleased with their dogs. Four of the pups have become strictly livestock guardians. Two of them are living primarily with sheep and two with goats. The other four are still on acreage but live closer to their families. These dogs are companions as well as guardians for their people, smaller pets, chickens and houses. Alexis puppies were born on June 27, 2008.
She has 3 females and 5 males. They are healthy, growing and very cute!
Alexis is a very attentive mother.
The puppies will be 8 weeks old on August 22 and ready to go

Yes, they are actually out with the sheep even though the photos don't show it. The dense "fog" in these photos is smoke from the lightening strike fires that are surrounding us in northern California.
